type='html'>"In the spring of 2006, Montana State University began to include a Building Information Modeling (BIM) program in its digital graphics and design curriculum. Since then, an increasing number of students have had the experience of designing with BIM programs and comparing their processes and final products with other students who are using traditional Computer Aided Design (CAD) programs. While 2-dimensional CAD and 3-dimensional BIM models may simply be tools to accomplish the same end, they provide two radically different approaches to learning architectural design. How to create ramps?
Home>circulation>ramp
Notes: ramps cannot have voids in it. Walls cannot be attached to ramps in revit2010
Tips: Create slope floors then ramps.

4. How to toggle with different unit designs/groups? [ Residential design ]
Just create group with the unit defined > select it > toggle with group selection under Element

5. What is the difference with group?
Group is similar to block in CAD and component in sketchup.
When items in group changed, the rest of the duplicated group follows.
Tips: It is advisable to ungroup items before array commands. Groups result heavier file size and slower work speed.
Therefore, using linked file is lighter for huge replication in a block.

Revit Architecture Conceptual Design Environment Tutorial

"This tutorial is a series of demonstrations that show how to use the conceptual design environment to express design concepts and create parametric massing families that can also be used in the Revit project environment." to find out more...
Passage from http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/item?siteID=123112&id=13709407&linkID=9243097

Project 2- Future Arc Rendering

This is the latest work generated from revit architecture with photoshop color curve and contrast enhanced.
